Darlings, CC is so excited to introduce you to Ness and Pepper, an exquisite line of handmade silk scarves.
Here's a bit about the collection from the Ness and Pepper press release:
"Spring-Summer 2012 sees the launch of Ness and Pepper scarves. Drawing inspiration from her career in fashion photography, Vanessa incorporates her photographic skills into the making of her scarves. Printed on the finest Chinese silk, Ness and Pepper’s hand-finished scarves combine the subtlety and elegance of Vanessa’s artistic style with the originality of her artwork. It was inevitable that darkroom experimentation with new mediums would lead to printing Vanessa’s work into silk. Texture and drapery are major themes for her work, renowned for its dreamy romanticism and feminity; her silk scarves represent the perfect fusion of medium and subject matter. Each scarf boasts a beautiful colour palette which will take you effortlessly from day to evening. The Ness and Pepper collection features Vanessa’s four statement pieces, Untitled Stars, Colombian Roses, Double Act and Amazon Lillies, which are all handmade with intricate detail. Using photos from her work, Vanessa creates a striking but beguiling world of colour and fantasy into her fashion silks."
Vanessa Warren – The Founder/Designer
Since leaving Central St Martin’s in 2004, the award winning photographer Vanessa
Warren has exhibited around the world and her fine art photography has won many
international awards. Her work in fashion photography in London and Milan has also
given her a unique perspective on where art meets fashion.

Amazon Lilies
In amongst the murky piranha infested waters of the Amazon, Vanessa came across a
contrasting elegant arrangement of lilies, reminding her of Japanese silk prints which
prompted her to create a wearable fine art photography silk scarf illustrating the beauty
of the flower.
Colombian Roses
Since living in Colombia for a part of her life, Vanessa incorporates the rose into her
work, a flower that she associates with the country and the passion of its people.
Double Act - CC has and adores!
This a particular highlight of the collection as Vanessa has blended two Polaroids into
one. The sequence illustrates chance, as she captures a moment within a dancer’s
movement, creating a fluid, dreamy print.
Untitled Stars
Drawing inspiration from an abstract series entitled ‘Dream’, she incorporates the
fanciful play of fabrics, water and reflection from the midday sun.
