Wiz Khalifa: I'll be married in weeks

Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose will be "licensed married" within a few weeks.
The couple got engaged in March this year and announced Amber's pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in September.

They have so far kept quiet on their wedding plans, although Wiz has now confirmed they are planning to tie the knot sooner rather than later.

"We're gonna get, like, licensed marriage, in a couple weeks we'll have that done," the 25-year-old rapper told New York City radio station Hot 97.

Amber, 29, is in her third trimester and the couple are waiting to fully celebrate their union until after she has given birth.
They are planning a big bash with all their loved ones present but want the model-and-singer to be able to enjoy the day properly.

"When you have the ceremony, that's when you can invite the family," Wiz explained. "She can fit into a dress and then like nieces, nephews. If we have a daughter one day, she might wanna give the dress to our daughter, but if she's pregnant then she can't do that."
There is another reason the pair have decided to postpone a raucous celebration. "She wants to get drunk," Wiz laughingly claimed.

The couple are yet to confirm whether they are having a boy or a girl, although they have been thinking about baby names. Wiz previously admitted they have found it hard to settle on monikers, although he is preparing to agree with whatever Amber says as he wants her to be happy.

He is willing to make sacrifices for his fiancée and has also stopped smoking marijuana around her.
"I smoke outside instead of inside. Everything is all about smells, man. If the smell irritates her, then it gotta go," he said.

Although they have been keeping it secret, Wiz Khalifa‘s fiancé Amber Rose may have spilled the beans on the their baby’s gender. The pregnant model tweeted out a photo on Sunday (Oct. 21) of a gift from a friend and purposely revealed the sex of their unborn child.

The picture features a graphic image of Guns ‘N’ Roses guitarist Slash on a baby-

sized onesie. “My friend Maria bought our Lil Boy this Slash onesie….. Oops did I say Lil Boy??? ;-) ,” she wrote.

Amber, who is in her second trimester, also celebrated her 29th birthday on Sunday, as well. Her boo Wizzy presented her with a Slash Hat birthday cake, which she also shared with her fans on Twitter.

If you’re asking yourself, what’s up with all the Slash motifs? Well, Rose’s all-time favorite musician is Slash from G’N'R. Rose is so enamored by Slash, she even dressed like him for a Halloween bash in New York City last year.

In an 2011 interview Global Grind, Rose explained her infatuation with the legendary guitarist. “He is one of my favorite people in the world! He has been my hero since I was a little girl; I always looked up to him,” she says. “He was a biracial rock star, and anytime he plays the guitar it just takes over my body. His sound is just amazing to me.”

“Most of my persona has a lot to do with Slash. I have a very mysterious persona and there are a lot of things that people don’t know about me and Slash is like that,” she continues. “He is like that to this day! He is very mysterious and people are just so intrigued by him and he has been out for 20 plus years! He wrote a book and you still want to know more.”

The 28-year-old model tweeted, "Good morning Rosebuds & Rosestuds Our lil wizbud is growing so fast ;-)” along with the photo. In the picture, Amber stands smiling in her bright pink undies, baring her belly and a few tattoos.

After rumors of the pregnancy swirled, the happy couple formally announced that they were expecting at the MTV VMA awards on September 6th. 

The happy father-to-be gushed to the interviewer, "Well, Sway, you know you my brother man, so we had to do it with you first and we had to do it with the whole world, and just let everybody know that we're expecting a beautiful young baby. We're having a baby!"
