And with a high profile gig on one of the most successful shows in television history, "Amercan Idol," Nicki's sure to remain supreme as the King Barb in 2013. Whether we love it or not...

Minaj rips Tyler for 'racist comment'

Nicki Minaj has told Steven Tyler to go 'f**k' himself.

Nicki acts as judge on TV talent show American Idol alongside Mariah Carey and Keith Urban.

Aerosmith rocker and former Idol judge Steven told MTV News that he was confident that the Pink Friday rapper would have 'sent [Bob Dylan] to the cornfield' should the folk singer have appeared on the show today. 

He was also dismayed by the lack of 'camaraderie' on the panel, ostensibly referencing Nicki's recent feud with Mariah.

Nicki is upset by Steven's comments.

"You assume that I wouldn''t have liked Bob Dylan? Why? Black? Rapper? What? Go f**k yourself and worry about yourself babe," Nicki wrote on Twitter.
"I understand you really wanted to keep your job but take that up with the producers. I haven''t done anything to you. That''s a racist comment."
Nicki also hit out at The View host Barbara Walters recently.
The TV presenter waded into the feud by claiming that Mariah had told her Nicki said she would 'shoot that b***h'.
"Let''s make [Steven] a shirt that says ''No Coloreds Allowed,'' then escort him down [to] Barbara Walters so he can tell how he was threatened [with] guns,' Nicki tweeted.
"When Steven [first] went on ''Idol'' he was ridiculed by his peers & fans alike. Called a sell out. So what does he do? Ridicule the next judge. (sic)"

We're hoping she'll shed more light on that as the show unfolds.

As with any artist, it's the fans that keep everything afloat; they buy the music (sometimes), attend the concerts and lap up the merch, and it's fan-star relationship that Minaj says she treasures the most. "That relationship that I have with my fans is sometimes the only thing that gets me out of bed," she admitted. "I can be having a horrible day and if I see my fans they make me laugh."

IT'S OFFICIAL--Nicki Minaj Is New "American Idol" Judge, Banks $8 Mill For The Gig!!!

Host Ryan Seacrest tweeted the official word today that Nicki Minaj will indeed be sitting next to Mariah Carey on the next "American Idol" judges' panel

After a month of swirling rumors, it's official. Mariah Carey will be joined by Barb chick Nicki Minaj, country superstar Keith Urban and "Idol" vet Randy Jackson (who is also Mariah's co-manager) on the judges' panel for the new season of "American Idol."

"Idol" host Ryan Seacrest tweeted the above pic saying:

It's official, your new #IdolJudges are @MariahCarey, @NickiMinaj, @KeithUrban & @Yo_RandyJackson!...Everyone gave a heartfelt toast about being on the show after we ate last night. Cant wait to see the first contestants today. #IdolJudges

While we already know MiMi is taking home about $18 mill for the gig, Nicki is reportedly getting paid a cool $8 mill. Ryan Seacrest is keeping his $15 mill salary. All judges are on a 1-year contract, according to THR.

Clearly "Idol" is going for judges--sometimes regardless of talent level--who have a large following that they hope will translate into large ratings. But as long as folks are banking dollars, it's all good right?

Auditions for the 12th season kick off today (Sunday) in New York. And "Idol" returns to Fox in January.

Red hot Nicki Minaj pours her curves into a body stocking and bondage harness

She's known for her curves. And Nicki Minaj showed them off to maximum effect as she performed on the Today Show this morning.  In an unforgiving red body stocking that clung to her voluptuous figure, the Sound The Alarm singer bounced around the stage as she belted out her new song.  Nicki teamed the stocking with an equally bright bondage harness and stiletto boots, which had her fans craning for a better look.

Her 'voice doctor' had ordered the 29-year-old to rest, but unwilling to disappoint her fans, and miss out on promoting her track, Minaj decided to do one last performance before the recommended two weeks off.

'Another X Ray is coming up, bruised vocal chord!' she told her sympathetic fans on Twitter, adding that her doctor had ordered her 'out for the count'.

It comes after a whirlwind few weeks for the Trinidadian singer on her Pink Friday tour. And the defiant singer is also still slated to perform at next weekend's V Festival in Britain.

 Billboard Award nominee Nicki Minaj was spotted at London's Heathrow Airport last week in a hot pink outfit (and pretty makeup we might add) and "Boy London" shirt. She's been in London for over a week on a whirlwind promotional tour for Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Nicki Minaj Won't Be Poor Again

The 29-year-old singer had a tough childhood with an abusive father and grew up without a great deal of material possessions but the 'Starships' hitmaker believes her upbringing made her even more determined to be successful.

She said: ''In the business you have to be used to really having all the doors closed. So when you have a childhood where you are used to being told 'no' and you're used to not being able to get the best Christmas gifts, you are accustomed to not always getting what you want. But then you become accustomed to working for it.

''I never want to go back to being poor. Once you have a taste of that you will always be driven. I know what that felt like and I don't want to feel it ever again. So yeah, I mean my childhood was crazy but it got me to the point where I had so much faith in whatever I was doing. I just always feel where there's a will there's a way and I live my entire life that way now.''

Nicki also believes her childhood has made her ''mentally strong'' enough to cope with the pressures of fame.

She said: ''If you are born with a silver spoon in your mouth and you come into this business you're going to get let down a lot. And it will probably send you crazy. This is only for the mentally strong. If you're not then it's not going to work.''

Nicki Minaj Follows Voice In Her Head

The 'Starships' rapper said she had got close to a number of fans using the micro blogging site, but listened to her inner self and acted on impulse in deleting her account last Sunday (15.04.12). 

Speaking on UK TV's 'The Graham Norton Show', she said:''A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter and that's what I did. 

''I had 11 million followers and I hope they will wait for me.

''I reply all the time and get to know them by name and I have a really personal bond with them. Not all 11 million, but at least 10 of them a day.''

Shortly before Nicki, 29, deleted her account, she had become upset after fan site NickiDaily posted leaked tracks from her relaunched album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.

In one of her final tweets to her fans - whom she refers to as Barbz - she wrote: ''And that's exactly why I'm paying the barbz DUST right now! And deleting my twitter. 

''Smdh - don't cry for me argentina. Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f***ing bye. (sic)''

Nicki has up to 30 days to change her mind and reinstate her account. She is currently in England to promote 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.

Nicki Minaj Channels Barbie at UK Fan Event

Bringing her magnetic attitude to the UK, Nicki Minaj continued forth with her London doings with a public fan event on Thursday afternoon (April 19).

The 29-year-old was decked out in a mostly pink Barbie outfit as she signed autographs on copies of her new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded for the gaggle of attendees lined up at the HMV Bayswater locale.


During her time in London, Miss Minaj also took time to chat with talk show host Graham Norton - who asked her about getting a much-talked-about birthday smooch from Madonna earlier this year.

Confessing that she was a bit taken aback by the moment, Nicki told, "You can't really call it making out. She kissed me but I didn't kiss her. I wasn't expecting it and was shocked like everyone else. I was shaking and thinking, 'Is this really happening and why is she doing this?'"

The "Starships" hitmaker added, "It was the strangest thing, except she had very soft lips... I guess you could say that (she's a good kisser), but we didn't hang around in that lip locking thing. It wasn't all drawn out and crazy."

Nicki Minaj Deletes Twitter Account, Tells Followers: “Good F*cking Bye”

Nicki Minaj has deleted her Twitteraccount.

But not to worry folks, she’ll be back – she’s got about 30days to reinstate… Plus, she’s probably reading tweets from all her “barbz” begging her to come back…
