Everything that needs to happen, will happen, in the time that it takes to happen, the way it was meant to happen. You need to trust in that. & if it doesn't happen , you have to trust that something better was meant for you. ♥

President Obama is the WINNER for the second time! With 303 Electoral College votes (most recent count at time of post), President Barack Obama has been re-elected to President of the United States.

Despite Mitt Romney initially "not accepting" the call in Ohio--which gave President Obama the necessary 270 electoral votes to win--he eventually conceded to our current POTUS.

During his acceptance speech, Mr. President fired up the audience at McCormick Place in Chicago with promises of a united country--whether he earned your vote or not--an equal country, and a fair place for all.
First Lady Michelle Obama, who looked gorge in her Michael Kors dress, joined her hubby on stage with the fab First Daughters Sasha & Malia, before he kicked off his rousing acceptance speech. And VP Joe Biden & wife Dr. Jill Biden joined them on stage afterwards.

Hollywood Reacts to Obama's Support of Gay Marriage

It’s official! In an interview with Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts on Wednesday (May 9), President Barack Obama personally announced that he supports same-sex marriage.

This, of course, created an uproar in Tinseltown and led celebrities straight to Twitter to share their opinions on the social issue.

"OMG, it's official!" tweeted E!’s Ross Matthews. "Obama becomes 1st president to support gay marriage!!! Historic day!" Louis Van Amstel added, "It was good to hear him say everyone SHOULD b able to get married.”

“Glee’s” Jane Lynch took to the social network site sharing, "Pretty darn happy today. Thanks Mr President, for supporting the dignity of my family and so many others!"

"President Obama announces support for ALL/equal marriage!" shared Eliza Eliza Dushku.

The President said that his new view is part of an “evolution” in his ideals, while adding, "I have to tell you that over the course of several years as I have talked to friends and family and neighbors when I think about members of my own staff who are in incredibly committed monogamous relationships, same-sex relationships, who are raising kids together.”

"When I think about those soldiers or airmen or marines or sailors who are out there fighting on my behalf and yet feel constrained, even now that Don't Ask Don't Tell is gone, because they are not able to commit themselves in a marriage, at a certain point I've just concluded that for me personally it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same sex couples should be able to get married,” he said.

"THANK YOU MR. PRESIDENT," tweeted Andy Cohen, as well as rapper Russell Simmons.

President Barack Obama COVERS "ROLLING STONE"

As he kicks his 2012 re-election campaign into high gear, President Barack Obama has popped up on the cover of the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine. Inside, he talks about everything from Republican candidate Mitt Romney to the impact our President has on young Black children as their role model. Obama said,

"That's hugely important. But you shouldn't also underestimate the fact that there are a whole bunch of little white girls and white boys all across the country who just take it for granted that there's an African-American president. That's the president they're growing up with, and that's changing attitudes."

He also discusses that he did not think his election marked the beginning of a "post-racial period." That's a big statement to the world from a man in his position--even though it's deemed as stating the obvious in many ethnic communities.

President Obama has been making an effort all week long to appeal to the younger voters. He spoke about lowering student loan rates and connected with Jimmy Fallon's audience last night. And I must say I appreciate that. Very rarely do Presidential candidates even blink an eye to the 18-30 crowd.

The interview drops  Friday.
