Prettying up the Princess of Wales Theatre was leading lady Halle Berry, who offered up an ear-to-ear smile while sandwiched between her two handsome male co-stars Tom Hanks and Hugh Grant.


As for their film, the David Mitchell novel based picture "explores how the actions and consequences of individual lives impact one another throughout the past, the present and the future. Action, mystery and romance weave dramatically through the story as one soul is shaped from a killer into a hero and a single act of kindness ripples across centuries to inspire a revolution in the distant future.”

Directed by the trio of Tom Tykwer and Andy & Lana Wachowski, "Cloud Atlas" also stars Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, James D’Arcy and Susan Sarandon while slated to hit theaters October 26th.

It's always the ish that happens when the cameras AREN'T rolling live that you have to be mindful of. And Thursday night's MTV VMAs were no different apparently. Based on pics and video, the gorgeous Rihanna indeed exchanged a kiss and hug with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown out in the audience.

Live cameras didn't show on tv....but some others cameras sure caught it. 

Now before you go making picket signs and burning cds or, on the flip side, before you start picking out "reunited" love songs, this kiss & hug exchange seemed like a simple greeting between the two.

Yes, Rih had a big smile plastered on her face when it went down. But it was quick, to the point, and could have just been a gesture of civility.

Yet and still, some folks say the fact they are displaying any type of affection toward each other in public is puzzling, considering their painfully public past.

From there, Ri-Ri launched into “We Found Love” with Calvin Harris, who was doing double duty as the evening’s house deejay.

Rihanna, who had a primo seat next to her gal pal Katy Perry during the rest of the night’s festivities, also took home the top prize - as she won Video of the Year honors to close the show!

Hosted by Demi Lovato, the 2012 Teen Choice Awards air live on FOX from 8-10PM ET while featuring performances by Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Flo Rida and No Doubt.

Among the stars slated to take the stage to dole out surfboards to the night's lucky winners are Lea Michele, Miranda Cosgrove, Zac Efron, Taylor Swift and Josh Hutcherson.

Carrie Underwood and Miley Cyrus were caught out by soaring temperatures in Las Vegas as they arrived for Sunday's (20May12) Billboard Music Awards and faced some big fashion decisions.

Performer Underwood decided not to let the heat ruin her big night on the red carpet, as nothing would prevent her from wearing a stunning silver-grey Oscar De La Renta gown.

She said, "It's sweltering and I'm so hot, but nothing would get in the way of this. I've been waiting for some time to wear this dress. It's stunning."

Cyrus had to opt for a cooler look than she had anticipated, hitting the red carpet in a revealing blouse and no bra - and she revealed her hotel pool had inspired her to dress cool.

She explained, "I could see the pool from my suite and all I wanted to do was to be in the pool. It was almost cruel."

And there was no time for Cyrus to chill out after the ceremony - she was flying straight home to Los Angeles after the big bash.

She added, "I have dogs. I can't stay in Las Vegas."
