Nicole Scherzinger Rushes to the US in Mourning For Grandmother

On Saturday's show, Nicole Scherzinger seemed distinctly less upbeat than normal, she spoke through tears after District 3's performance of Eric Clapton's 'Tears in Heaven', saying that the song had particular significance for her on that day. The resonance and importance of her tears we've only learned today, as it has now been repo

rted that Nicole lost her grandmother on Saturday morning.

The Mirror reported yesterday that the pair were jetting off for a romantic break, having not been able to spend much time together recently, however, in light of today's revelation it has become apparent that she is in fact returning home for far less joyful purposes. It is thought that her commitments to the X Factor will bring her back either tomorrow (Nov 14th 2012) or Thursday which may mean she'll miss her grandmother's funeral. Boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton who went with her over the the US, will probably stay state-side as he has an F1 race in Texas on Saturday.

While the Mirror questions whether Scherzinger will miss the X Factor for her grandmother's funeral, our concern is far more for the family. Although the X Factor judge obviously has commitments to her three contestants still left in the competition, Jahmene, James Arthur and Rylan Clark, it will be more than understandable if she can't make it back. We at Contact Music wish all the best for the Nicole and all her family, and send our condolences.

We @ So Sexy Fashion also send
the best for Nicole and all her family, and send our condolences.

Nicole Scherzinger Covers Marie Claire UK December 2012

Highlights from Miss Scherzinger's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Marie Claire UK!

On her relationship with Chris Brown:
"I've known Chris since he started in the business. He's like a little brother [to me]. He's one of the most talented people in the industry."

On her Formula 1 beau Lewis Hamilton:
"Lewis and I are a team and we're really there for each other, and the time we spend together I do cherish, it's separate from everything else. I know there are a lot of relationships who, you know... take Kanye West and Kim Kardashian - well, they're perfect for the cameras. Lewis and I are a bit more subdued."

On waiting to have children:
"I'm not having someone else raise my kids. I think five years might be a good time to look at having children, but I think whenever it's meant to happen is when it will happen. Right now, I'm focussing on my career. I see lots of women having beautiful children later in life now. And, if not, just freeze your eggs."

On why she's afraid to lose her fortune:
"We couldn't afford the luxury of getting a year book or school photos or anything like that. Mum got all my clothes from second-hand stores and garage sales. And to think of losing it scares me because I grew up with nothing."

Pussycat Doll hits back at Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Scherzinger refused to share the spotlight with the rest of the Pussycat Dolls according to her ex-bandmate.

Former Pussycat Doll Kaya Jones has hit back at the 'Don't Hold Your Breath' singer for claiming in her upcoming VH1 'Behind the Music' special that she did 95% of the singing herself and the rest of the group did not record any vocals for their albums.

Kaya did not deny Nicole's claims but insisted the other members of the band were heavily involved.

She told US gossip website TMZ: ''There was a lot more going on behind the scenes. Nicole was always someone who wanted to be in the spotlight and would do pretty much anything to get it.

''To call the other girls in the Pussycat Dolls 'window dressings' is a bit far-fetched ... every girl in the group was talented.''

Kaya's response comes just days after a clip of the upcoming documentary was released in which 34-year-old Nicole said that her fellow ''Dolls'' Melody Thornton, 28, Ashley Roberts, 31, Kimberly Wyatt, 30, Jessica Sutta, 30, and Carmit Bachar, 38, were given undue credit.

Nicole said: ''I hope I don't get in trouble for the stuff that I say but I'll never forget I finished the album, 'PCD', and [executive producer] Ron [Fair] and I brought the girls into the studio and we played it for them. It was the first time they'd ever heard the music.

''Do you understand what I'm saying? We played the album for the Pussycat Dolls. It was the first time they'd ever heard the songs.''

Ron agrees Nicole, did more singing than her bandmates.

He said: ''Melody sang a bit here and there, but the records were Nicole, with the exception of an occasional ad-lib.''

Carmit was first to leave Pussycat Dolls, with Nicole and the rest of the original recording line up following in 2010.

Nicole Scherzinger 'crisis talks with Hamilton'

Nicole Scherzinger has held crisis talks with her on-off boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.

The stunning singer was recently photographed looking 'touchy feely' with Chris Brown at a club in Hollywood. Although Nicole was quick to insist they are just 'old friends', Formula One racing driver Lewis was furious when he saw the pictures.

Lewis reportedly ended his romance with Nicole three weeks ago, but still apparently 'hit the roof' when he saw the pictures last week.

'Splitting was his decision. He's got a lot on his plate at the moment. And her commitments on X Factor and his career were clashing over the last few months,' a source told British newspaper The Sun. 'When he saw the pictures of her with Chris, he flew off the handle. He wasn't happy at all- even though they were not together anymore.'

Although Nicole had explained that she doesn't have romantic feelings for Chris, Lewis apparently 'wanted to hear it for himself'.

After their make-or-break meet up, Lewis is said to have agreed to give their romance another chance.

Nicole will be spending the next few months in London for her role as a judge on the UK X Factor, meaning she will see more of British racer Lewis.

Nicole Scherzinger was picked to cover the September 2012 issue of Cosmopolitan UK magazine.

The 34-year-old singer/actress looked fab in a shimmering magenta frock for the James White shot front page while dishing about Lewis Hamilton, tr

ust and 'The X-Factor".

Highlights from Miss Scherzinger's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Cosmopolitan UK!

On who inspires her:
“My mom is my everything. Recently she came to the UK and I took her to an X Factor audition in Newcastle. It was the first stamp on her passport. That was really special. I thought it was going to be too much for her because it was a short trip but she was so excited!”

On her circle of friends:
“I love people but I tend to be shy and stay within my little circle. I roll with the same crew- they get me and they’ve been there for me through the good and bad. My sister is in our group too. We speak pretty much every day. It’s important to confide in friends- when you’re confused or feel alone they pick you up. We just went to Mexico and we had so much fun. One friend was so pale- she was like, ‘I gotta get some sun!’ Then she was beetroot-red by the end of the day and we were laughing so much.”

On what she learned as a Pussycat Doll:
“I learned how to accept myself. There was nowhere to hide in hose outfits! And it was cool to be in a girl group; it’s empowering when you’ve got a sister to back you up.”

Nicole Scherzinger 'wishes Britney luck'

Nicole Scherzinger says she wishes Britney Spears luck in her new judging role on The X Factor.

The Pussycat Doll was ousted from the show by Simon Cowell after just one season of the singing competition show.

And Nicole told E! News that she has only warm regards for Britney and fellow new judge Demi Lovato, although she won't have much time to see them in action.

'I don't watch a lot of television,' Nicole told the site. 'I'll try to watch it when I can though.'

'I wish them the best of luck, I'm excited for them.'

Britney recently tweeted about her excitement of heading out on the road to conduct auditions around America.

She will be joined by Simon, Demi and L.A. Reid. A new host for the show has not yet been revealed after Welsh presenter Steve Jones was also fired.

Nicole Scherzinger's Led Zeppelin Help

Nicole Scherzinger listened to Led Zeppelin to get her in the mood for 'Men In Black 3'.

The singer-and-actress made her big screen debut as antagonist Lily Poison in the sci-fi movie and she found it ''inspiring'' to tune into ''heavier music'' to portray the villain.

She told BANG Showbiz: ''I listened to my heavier music and I listened to Led Zeppelin and I kind of got in that frame of mind because music is what inspires me most.

''I worked with my acting coach a lot and she told me about lots of crazy things to think about while I was in character, but I better not tell you what she said.''

Nicole, 33, is hoping the movie will kick-start her acting career, but she found it ''fricking scary'' having the camera focused on her while she was shooting the film.

She added: ''It's fricking scary being on a film set, it's much easier to perform in front of a live audience because you feel all that energy. But when you just have a camera on you everything is focusing on you.

''I grew up doing theatre and working a lot on stage and this is the first time being in front of the big screen so hopefully it's the first of many.''

Nicole starred alongside Will Smith (Agent J), Tommy Lee Jones (Agent K) and Josh Brolin (Young Agent K) in the movie, and she admits her close friend Will was ''very inspiring'' to be around.

She explained: ''I didn't have any scenes with Will but he's a close friend and he is one of the most brilliant people that I know, he's very inspiring to be around. I worked a lot with Jemaine Clement and he's unbelievable.''

Looks like that split's a bit TOO high! Nicole Scherzinger struggles to maintain her modesty in a daring dress at premiere

Taking care of some international promotions, Nicole Scherzinger was spotted at the UK premiere of her new film “Men In Black III” in London, England today (May 16).

Joined by her on-again beau Lewis Hamilton, the former Pussycat Doll singer looked gorgeous in a lacy black dress as she hammed it up at the Odeon Leicester Square.

Earlier this week, Nicole was in Germany for the film’s big premiere at the O2 World Arena, along with Will Smith and Josh Brolin.

“Men In Black III” is scheduled to hit theaters here in the States on Memorial Day weekend, 10 years after Part II was released.
