Britney Spears made a statement in red at "The X Factor" auditions in Providence, Rhode Island, on Wednesday. The pop star sizzled in a low-cut bandage dress, proving that even at 30 she's still sexy.

The singer even stopped to sign autographs for fans before getting to work on the judging panel.

Earlier this month, Britney came face to face with a former duet partner who tried out for the singing competition. Her panel, which also includes judges Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid, and Demi Lovato, decided not to let him progress to the next stage. The competitor, Don Philip, later mocked Britney's mental problems on Facebook.

But it appears that Britney isn't letting things like that get her down. If you've got it, flaunt it!

Britney Spears gets off to a wobbly start as she stumbles in platform heels outside X Factor auditions

Britney Spears nearly took a tumble as she arrived to the first day of "X Factor" auditions in Kansas City, Missouri this afternoon (June 8).

Clad in a white knit top and matching peep toe pumps, the "Toxic" songstress later gathered her balance - just in time for the shutterbugs to snap a few pics.
Prior to her arrival Miss Spears amped up the excited for the stop, tweeting, "Hope that Kansas City is ready for @TheXFactorUSA to roll into town tomorrow....let's go! @simoncowell @ddlovato @la_reid #KCFactor."

After learning co-judge Simon Cowell had fallen ill and wouldn't be able to make this round of auditions, Brit later joked, "I can't believe I'm actually saying this...but I miss @SimonCowell. Hope you feel better soon!"

Nicole Scherzinger 'wishes Britney luck'

Nicole Scherzinger says she wishes Britney Spears luck in her new judging role on The X Factor.

The Pussycat Doll was ousted from the show by Simon Cowell after just one season of the singing competition show.

And Nicole told E! News that she has only warm regards for Britney and fellow new judge Demi Lovato, although she won't have much time to see them in action.

'I don't watch a lot of television,' Nicole told the site. 'I'll try to watch it when I can though.'

'I wish them the best of luck, I'm excited for them.'

Britney recently tweeted about her excitement of heading out on the road to conduct auditions around America.

She will be joined by Simon, Demi and L.A. Reid. A new host for the show has not yet been revealed after Welsh presenter Steve Jones was also fired.

The “Baby One More Time” songstress and the “Skyscraper” starlet showd up at the Beacon Theatre to be announced as the two new judges on the forthcoming season of “The X Factor."

Britney and Demi will fill the vacancies left by Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul’s departures, and will likely bring a youthful vibe to the already successful talent show. “I couldn’t be more excited to join The X Factor judging panel. I’m a huge fan of the show and now I get to be a part of the action. Simon and L.A. better watch out!” the 30-year-old pop star recently released in a statement.

FOX honchos Kevin Reilly and Peter Rice told press the changes at “The X Factor” are in an effort to make the gig more “entertaining and exciting.”
