Rita Ora pranks mom

Rita Ora has pranked her mother, who couldn't hide her horror at the amount of "scandals" the star has been involved in.
The 21-year-old singer appeared on BBC Radio One this morning, where she was challenged to play a trick on her unsuspecting mom.
Rita jumped at the chance, agreeing to phone her parent and say something outlandish to see how she would react.

During the phone call, Rita broke the made-up news that her "bum fell out of her trousers" while she had been taking trash out. She claimed that as she inadvertently flashed her derriere, waiting paparazzi managed to get a picture.
Rita's mother was not impressed.

"Why did you take the rubbish out?" she fumed. "There is a porter upstairs! You're stupid, you did it on purpose, you idiot! You can't be doing all these scandals in the papers."

Rita couldn't help giggling as she was chastised by her relative, which only made her mother more irritated. After admonishing the youngster for finding the situation funny, she again reminded her not to take her own rubbish out of her apartment.
"Why did you have your bum out? Why were you on the street? You're not allowed on the street," she said.
Rita's mom wasn't angry for too long though, soothing her daughter that she wasn't "the biggest disgrace in the family" after the musician asked if she was disappointed.

Although the incident was a joke this time around, Rita recently got in trouble with her mother for real.
Earlier this month, the star accidentally exposed her breast while performing. It was the second time her top had failed to stay in place and the singer decided to let her mother know before the images were published.

"She just said, 'For God's sake! When are you going to start wearing a bra, Rita?' I had an outfit and t*t tape ready but didn't have time to change," the star laughed.

Rita Ora: Beyoncé's tot is gangster

Rita Ora thinks Beyoncé Knowles' daughter Blue Ivy will grow into "a gangster" when she is older.

Rita has joked Beyoncé and Jay-Z's tot will cause the superstar couple problems as she blossoms. The stunning singer - who is rap mogul Jay-Z's protégée - thinks Blue Ivy will be a handful for her parents as she turns into an attractive young woman.

"She's beautiful. She's the cutest baby ever. She's going to be such a gangster when she grows up," Rita joked to Glamour Online. "She's gonna be very beautiful. She's gonna be a problem."

Rita looks to Beyoncé as an inspiration for both her music career and future family plans. The 21-year-old idolises the way the superstar juggles all the different aspects of her life. Rita believes Beyoncé is almost superhuman with the way she remains at the top of her game in everything she does.

"It's so inspiring to see her be the most successful artist in her genre and have a kid at the same time. Literally, sometimes, I just feel like she's a super hero," Rita gushed.

"It's hard to go on tour, have a new album, have a kid, always look great. And one day, I would love to do the same thing. When I'm old enough, and have a family, and be in a happy relationship and have a kid. And be, you know, the best singer I can possibly be. So no one is looking to have a kid right now. I'm not going to have a baby until I'm around 30 something."

Rita Ora garnered herself a little added exposure by covering the August/September 2012 issue of Complex magazine.

The 21-year-old British singer-songwriter showed off her hotness in a top, skirt and sneakers by Adidas Originals for Opening Ceremony accessorized with a bangle and watch from Cartier and Ben Amun bracelets on the Zoe McConnell shot front page.

Dishing about everything from pre-concert nerves and working with Jay-Z to her relationship standing with Rob Kardashian and Rihanna rumors, a few highlights from Miss Ora's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Complex!

On her situation with rumored boyfriend Rob Kardashian:
“I mean, it’s not really a relationship. It’s not that intense. He’s a cool guy. We’re close. We’re good friends. I got his back and he’s got mine. To me, it doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from—if you’re a good person and you got my back, I got yours. It’s that easy for me.”

On no longer being starstruck by Jay-Z:
“I was when I first got signed, knowing what he’s done and the empire he’s created. But he’s one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. He made me feel so at ease that I forgot he was Jay for a minute. He turned into this brother figure and an amazing boss.”

On her pre-show anxiety:
“I get nervous before shows and then I’m just like, OK—let’s go. It’s like, you can’t f**k it up now ’cause everybody’s watching you. It’s more of a rush—like an adrenaline high.”

On being cool with Rihanna, despite rumors saying otherwise:
“I admire Rihanna. She works her a** off. She hasn’t had a break and she has given people hit after hit after hit. That work ethic and discipline is hardcore. That’s the kind of s**t that I want to do. That I will do." She adds, “Everyone thought that we hated each other, but the whole thing was created by the media. That’s what’s so funny."

Rita Ora Shocked By Jay-Z

Rita Ora Shocked By Jay-Z

The 21-year-old singer didn't expect the media mogul to be present when she flew to New York to meet with his Roc Nation record label and was completely overwhelmed when she walked into the room and was greeted by the ''legend''.

She told Q magazine: ''I went straight from the airport and I thought it was just a boring meeting.

''He was sitting there and I went into shock. I mean, he's a legend.''

Rita is currently working on her debut album and though she is collaborating with a number of high-profile stars, she insists she has full control over the record.

She said: ''There are a lot of co-writers, Chase & Status, Drake and Stargate, but the concept always comes from me. Even when it's someone as big as Drake.''

Rita was born on Kosovo but moved to the UK from the war-torn region when she was just one year old, and says her background has made her more driven.

She said: ''We were lucky to get out of there when we did. It's made me strive harder.''

Jay-Z a Fan of Rita Ora's Energy

It's a dream come true for hungry artists to be discovered, and a bigger dream come true to be discovered by Jay-Z’s camp. Hov had his hand in the launch of the careers of Kanye West and Rihanna, and he is excited about his new protégée Rita Ora. The rap entrepreneur holds high expectations for the newest member of Roc Nation, and loves the energy she brings to the game.

Jay recently spoke to MTV news on Monday about the spunky singer, saying, "I think her energy is infectious, because out the gate, two #1s in London and she'll just continue to grow from there." He goes on the speak about her hunger as an artist. "She was the cool girl that worked in the sneaker store in the hood and everyone knew of her. She was just in there dreamin' and she just wanted it so bad," he said, describing Ora with awe. "You could just feel the excitement and the energy when she walks in the room, the room really changes. I know a lot of people say that and it gets to be cliché, but when she walks into a room, her energy picks you up."
