Old Apt Tour via Teen Vogue

A few months ago, Teen Vogue stopped by to shoot my old apartment and the article is finally up! By no means, was the decor perfect as I was only living here for little over a year yet have been traveling nonstop so my old apartment served more as a place where I could refuel (sleep or relax) and pack my luggage. Organization was the most important thing for me especially in my closet (I converted a second bedroom into a closet) since I was always on the go, and it made dressing and packing that much easier.

The Closet

I took a few photos of my closet before I moved out of my old place. I converted a spare bedroom into a closet and with the help of Wesley Mason, built the whole thing ourselves reusing old bookcases and shelves that we've already had. The whole thing is actually detachable so I'm doing this all over again at my new place which I'll share once it's done!

I have too many bracelets so I use anything I can find as bracelet holders and the cheapest option I found was using wine bottles (I don't drink, but Wesley Mason does!)
How do you store your jewelry?

P.S. If you haven't seen my closet tour video, you can watch it here!

Happy almost end of the week! :)

Holiday Decor Guide, Part Two: Tabletop

13.523

This is my first official holiday dinner table set up and although I'm not really the hosting dinner parties type (I'm more of the eating type) this was fun to do. Like my first Holiday Decor Guide (seen here) I found most of my tabletop items at TJ Maxx/Marshalls. My favorite finds were definitely the blue ikat inspired plates and the candles that aren't just pretty to look at but also smell so good.

Holiday Decor Guide, Part One: My Room

1234.5Ok, I admit I'm a bit late on decorating for the holidays. Traveling and working 12 hours a day has left me too exhausted and overwhelmed to decorate my own home. Thankfully to my rescue, T.J. Maxx/Marshalls had everything I needed to put me in the Holiday spirit. On one trip, I filled up my entire cart and was pleasantly shocked to hear my total was less than half of what I was expecting to pay.

Here pictured are just a portion of what I walked out from T.J. Maxx/Marshalls. For those who haven't decorated for the holidays and are in need of an inspiration, hope this post helped you and let me know what holiday objects you've scored from T.J. Maxx/Marshalls!
